Do you remember the moment you knew you wanted to become a designer?
I always loved creating stuff right from my childhood. At the age of 12, my elder brother introduced me to photoshop. I used to spend hours experimenting and exploring it.
The stuff i used to create wasn’t that good but i was enjoying the process and over the time i developed more interest in designing.
Did you go to design school? Do you think it was necessary to get to where you are today?
No I did not. I am self taught and have learnt from free online resources. According to me going to school or not doesn’t make you a good or bad designer, it’s the determination that matters. You should be hungry to get better at what you do and should be learning everyday and get better everyday.
Who is your favorite designer right now?
Chris Ashworth, Vasen Katro, Xtian Miller, Roman Post, Roy Cranston, Anthony Velen.
What is your all time favorite font?
Helvetica, Monument extended, Gotham, Compacta, Sequel extended. These will be my go to fonts but the top one will be Helvetica for sure.
What is your method of getting out of a designers block?
Try designing something else, play a game, and sleep . Sleeping work the best for me to refresh my brain.
Can you describe your ideal working environment?
Music is a must while I work. Having a decent setup with a comfy chair.Â
